Your privacy is important to the Fellowship of Reconciliation, and we do not collect any more information about you than is necessary to help us serve you. Any information that we do collect or that you provide is kept in the strictest confidence and not shared with or sold to others without your explicit consent.

FOR-USA will never sell, lease, share or otherwise disclose your personally identifiable information to any other organization without your explicit written consent, unless compelled by United States or international court or executive order. If we are required by law to disclose any information you have submitted, we will attempt to provide you with notice, unless we are prohibited, in order to give you an opportunity to legally challenge such disclosure.

Website visitors

Our website software does not collect personally-identifiable information. It does, however, record your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address. This IP address could be used to identify your computer’s geographic location but is not linked to any other information about you.

Third-party tools on this site include Google Analytics and Google Custom Search Engine; Google, Bootstrap, jQuery, DonorShops/GiveCloud and Amazon content delivery networks (CDNs); BugSnag, Constant Contact, Facebook, TypeKit,  and Twitter. Any of these companies could track you for advertising purposes through these tools. If you’d prefer not to be tracked, we recommend the browser extensions uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger.

Donors

We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.

This policy applies to all information received by the Fellowship of Reconciliation, both online and offline, on any platform (such as the Fellowship of Reconciliation website and mobile applications), as well as any other electronic, written, or oral communications.

To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.

Communications

The Fellowship of Reconciliation is committed to respecting the privacy of those who elect to receive electronic or paper newsletters from FOR-USA.

The types of personal information collected and maintained by the organization are as follows: Contact information inclusive of name, address, telephone number and email address; date of birth; giving information on events attended; publications received; items purchased from the FOR bookstore; surveys taken; and information as provided by the supporter in the form of comments and suggestions.

FOR-USA uses your information to understand your interests in the FOR-USA’s mission and to update you on plans and activities.

The information is shared with staff, board members, volunteers and consultants only on a “need-to-know” basis.

FOR-USA assures you that names, addresses or other information will not be shared with any third party unless permission has been granted by the supporter.
