Is there an issue or cause you want to speak out about and know others who feel the same way, but have no idea how to prepare or organize a grassroots movement? Or maybe you want to be a part of taking responsibility for what’s happening in your community and ready to stand up?
We provide tools, training, local level movement mentorship for building infrastructure, tactical strategy, and development of decentralized leadership.
THEOLOGICAL GROUNDING
This is where it begins. Engage the theology of nonviolent resistance.
GRASSROOTS HUB
We operate as a networking resource hub for activists, organizers and communities. Through our peace network, we connect movements at the grassroots level.
MOBILIZING TOOLS
We have developed a series of tools for movement building. These essential tools, developed over the years and overseen by top interfaith leaders, are focused on grassroots mobilization, working very closely with our local chapters and affiliated groups to provide the necessary support and educational materials.
RESOURCE INFORMATION CENTER
We educate and provide literature (curricula, readings) and nonviolent toolkits. We also arrange programming, including hosting webinars along with other opportunities for the exchanging of methods and ideas.
We have worked alongside and learned from many prominent peace and justice figures, and maintain a proven track record having educated and trained numerous organizers, activists, teachers and more.
ORGANIZING TRAINING
We provide workshops, educational resources, strategic consulting, and speaking engagements for diverse audiences.
YOUTH LEADERSHIP TRAINING
We run young adult leadership development programs, workshops, and nonviolent direct action training for front-line movements.
CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE TRAINING
We prepare communities for target nonviolent action, grounded in deep abiding love.
The ‘peace’ the gospel brings is never the absence of conflict, but an ineffable divine reassurance within the heart of conflict; a peace that surpasses understanding.
