Erica Fugger

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AND ARCHIVES

Erica Fugger is an oral historian and peace educator based in the New York City area. As the Director of Communications and Archives at the Fellowship of Reconciliation-USA, she leads the organization’s communications strategy while overseeing the preservation and stewardship of its historical records. 

Erica is currently a PhD Candidate in Rutgers University-Newark’s American Studies program, where she researches how anti-war coalitions educate and mobilize the public. She previously managed Columbia University’s Center for Oral History Archives and Oral History MA program, and served as an Alliance for Historical Dialogue and Accountability Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Human Rights. She is a co-founder of the Documenting Peace research collaborative and formerly directed Washington College’s World War II public memory program, the National Home Front Project.
