Nonviolence International
Nonviolence International researches and promotes nonviolent action and seeks to reduce the use of violence worldwide. We believe that every culture and religion can employ appropriate nonviolent methods for positive social change and international peace.
Mubarak Awad, a member of the Fellowship of Reconciliation, founded Nonviolence International in 1989 after being expelled from Palestine for helping the creation of a nonviolent action campaign and the first intifada. NI has been affiliated with the Fellowship of Reconciliation since its inception.
