FOR policy on sharing information from the member database

The national office of the Fellowship of Reconciliation honors a commitment to assist local chapters in the process of forming and organizing, and to involve many members through the activities of local chapters. We are happy to supply lists of individual members with the following guidelines:

1. FOR will share the names of individual members only. We do not share information about non-member supporters.
2. The list may be used once only for an initial mailing. Anyone who responds may be added to your mailing list.
3. The receiver must be an FOR member.
4. The list cannot be used for fundraising unless it is for an FOR local chapter.
5. The list must not be given, lended, exchanged or sold to any other person, organization or company.
6. Names and information regarding contributors is confidential.
7. Any returned mailings or forwarding information you receive as a result of the mailing must be reported to the FOR national office so that we may update our database for the benefit of the entire organization.

When requesting lists, it is helpful if you are able to identify the zip codes (or first three digits) of the areas for which you are making the request.
