2008 Festival of Peace

Along with our fourth annual Festival of Peace, FOR is hosting an art show fundraiser. This event will also take place at our national headquarters in Nyack, NY.

September 14, 2008 • 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

This art show is a 50/50 fundraiser held in conjunction with the Festival of Peace to support the ongoing eforts of FOR to acheive a just and peaceful world. Artists are encouraged to support the theme of "Peace in the Human Family/Peace with the Earth" in both subject and material by using non-toxic, environmentally-friendly, and recycled materials. Paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, and collages up to 22" x 36", and three-dimensional works up to 24" x 24" are accepted.

Artist information:

Application deadline is July 25th. Artists will be notified after August 8th, 2008. Artwork must be delivered to FOR by September 5th, 2008.
