Jane O'Shields-Hayner and Bill Hayner have
worked collaboratively and individually as
performance artists for the past nineteen
years. Bill has studied and worked with Rachel
Rosenthal and Jane has extensive experience
in dance and intermedia. Both are painters,
art teachers and life-long activists for peace
and social justice.
Jane is also an occupational
therapist with an independent practice in
southern California. Both are Quakers and
devote time to their religious community
and to interfaith work. They strive to bring
strong
spiritual and visual elements to their performance
work. Among the venues at which they have
performed are the Japan America Theater
in Los Angeles, the Museum of Contemporary
Art
in San Diego, the University of California,
Long Beach and the University of Texas at
Denton. |
